Slowdisk is Jouke Schouwstra and Huib Bouwman.

We have been friends since 1980 and we’ve been making music together for 35 years now.
In 2005 we suddenly found ourselves making the kind of music that we had always aspired to.

For over a year we cooked the meals we liked the most, drank the best wines we could afford and heard the best music we could imagine.
We listened, talked, listened some more and went to our studio.
