Have a look at some of the equipment that we use.

  • Dobro. The Dobro plays an important role in many of our songs. We feel that the clear, ethereal sound works beautifully together with the warmth of the Les Paul.

  • Gibson Les Paul. What can we say? It’s a real guitar. We use a Les Paul Studio, which is quite noisy, but has an enormous depth and warmth.

  • Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. This is a fantastic sounding amp. The volume knob is insane though. “Off” and “loud” are the only settings it allows.

  • Line 6 POD. Nice allround amp simulation.

  • Line 6 Stomp Boxes. Terrific effects, we use the MM4, DL4 and FM4. The Octisynth effect in ‘We are not…’ is one of our favorites.

  • Nord Modular. This is a great tool with endless potential. If you can conceive of a sound, chances are the Nord will make it possible.
  • Lexicon MPX1. Fantastic reverb. Our music wouldn’t be the same without the Plate, Taj Mahal, Warm Room and Big Studio that all seem to exist within this piece of electrickery.
  • Aphex aural exciter 204. A seductive but dangerous machine. It is great when used sparsely, disastrous otherwise. We like to think we have used it wisely.
  • Roland TD-6 Percussion Sound Module. Many, many drum and percussion sounds, ranging from very natural to insane. Some sounds should be illegal.
  • TC-Helicon VoiceWorks. We used the voiceworks for most of the vocals on ‘Love when we are’.
  • Kurzweil Micropiano. For that natural piano sound.
